This fabulous Ferdinand Porsche tweaked four cylinder, supercharged racing car piloted by Christian Werner with his on-board mechanic Karl Sailer won the race of 7000 curves so convincingly, that they even set a new track record of 1 hour and 35 minutes! If you are wondering about the unusual Red paint job (German racing color was white, back then), it was to foil the passionate Sicilian race fans from throwing stones at a German car... Once again I can start blubbering superlatives about this, the Model of the Year 2005, awarded work of art from CMC, but frankly, you can see it for yourselves! With every new model, these folks dial up the quality and details to such an extent, that scratch-builders are left in the dust... An absolute Must for any collection of historical automobiles.
