After losing the family’s shoe factory in WW-II, Han Clemens and his sister took the only material at hand, old Wehrmacht wool blankets, and started making Teddy bears in 1948. That was 62 years ago! We’ve been big fans of Clemens for many years, having introduced them to the American market many years ago. In our opinion, they’re the best. Materials, design, and workmanship. Fully jointed, all natural fibers, mostly fine mohair. Some with growlers. The limited editions are small. The designers, the best in the trade. These are the finest Teddys made. To cuddle ‘em is to love them.
