Actually they weren’t just for dinner… These bells were for summoning servants, as was common in the days before the revolution, when the folks doing the ringing ate white bread, and the peasants ate dirt. These bells are all cast of solid bronze from the original molds. All these date back to the 1960’s & ‘70’s. Interesting Russian Imperial artifacts.
